Chapter 1: Welcome & Your First Project

In our first tutorial, we introduce the platform and show you how to create your first project – the basis for all further work on e-TALENTA. We’ll show you how to create roles and where to fill in the necessary information, such as shooting dates, project synopsis and character descriptions.

Chapter 2, Part 1: The e-SEARCH tool

In this tutorial, we take an in-depth look at how to use our comprehensive search tool to find actors and actresses for your project. We also concentrate on the different kinds of buttons the e-SEARCH tool has and which one is right for you. You will also be shown the results list.

Chapter 2, Part 2: Creating public and protected castings

In today’s tutorial, we focus on two of the three types of casting you can do on e-TALENTA: public and protected. Sending out castings to the actresses and actors with suitable profiles has never been so easy!

We will take you through each step of the preparation of a casting, including the character descriptions, unavailability requests and additional information, both for the actors, actresses and agents receiving the casting and the editorial team.

Chapter 2, Part 3: Creating closed castings

This tutorial is about the third type of casting you can do on e-TALENTA: closed casting. You can send this casting to a pre-selected group of favourites, either by using the group mail function or via email – and/or publish the link to the casting on your social media channels. The applicants will not need to be members of the platform to submit themselves.

Chapter 2, Part 4: The Photo Similarity Tool

In our shortest tutorial yet, we will look at how to use the Photo Similarity Tool to find talent for your project. This is particularly advantageous when you’re trying to cast a lookalike for a historical reconstruction or a documentary.

Chapter 3: How to manage your casting submissions and favourites lists

In our sixth tutorial, we dive into what you can do once you have received submissions for a casting or once you have created a favourites list for a specific role. Included in this video are chapters on:

• Sorting and filtering
• Rounds (managing your casting process in a natural and clear way)
• Communication (send messages and group mails to agents and actors, request self-tapes)
• How to request availability from actors/agents
• Manage the status of fee negotiations
• Flags (how to use them for a better overview and the “mark as cast” button)
• Notes & Tasks (where to write them, how to make them available or assign them to your team)

Chapter 4: How to get casting videos (self-tapes)

In our seventh tutorial, we look at the different ways you can receive casting videos from actresses and actors:

• By sending out a casting (public, protected or closed)
• By using the group mail feature to request casting videos from a list
• By using the messaging network to request casting videos from individuals
• PREMIUM only: By sharing an upload link with actresses, actors or agents

Chapter 5, Part 1: Setting up the Virtual Casting Studio

In our eight tutorial, we will prepare a session inside the Virtual Casting Studio by adding project details and then inviting actresses and actors to the slots.
