Your support for a fair casting infrastructure
e-TALENTA’s supporting membership is open to all professional players in the casting industry.
The more supporting members finance the platform, the better we can maintain or further reduce the low-cost coverage contribution.
If the platform receives more in membership fees than necessary, we are legally obliged to transfer these surpluses exclusively to the non-profit organisation e-TALENTA gGmbH.
Why should I become a supporting member?
- Access to actresses and actors is essential for the film industry.
- Actresses and actors must be visible in the entire casting industry – without financial barriers.
- Actresses and actors should not be forced into commercial platform models for the chance to get a job.
- As part of the cultural and creative industries, actresses and actors do not fit structurally into the classic subscription and platform models we may know from the private sector.
- Europe as a film location needs a fair, transparent source that is equally accessible to all casting directors, actresses, actors and all filmmakers – free from commercial interests.
- When platforms turn visibility, hope and access to jobs into business models, this does not do justice to the reality of actresses and actors.
Our solution: Non-profit instead of profit-orientated
- e-TALENTA is the source for the entire European casting industry – and the alternative to commercial platforms and business models.
- e-TALENTA is a non-profit organisation – no profit is made neither from the hopes of actresses and actors nor from the projects and roles on offer. Any surpluses go exclusively to the non-profit organisation e-TALENTA gGmbH.
- We are financed by the contributions of our supporting members and use them to cover our costs for staff, technical infrastructure and administration.
- We offer all actresses and actors the opportunity to present themselves to the industry, including a CV, photos and showreel in full HD – there are no costs for pure visibility and presence with an online profile.
- e-TALENTA can be used in 20 European languages, for maximum distribution in the European film industry – without any language barriers.
