One of our key aims is to promote international talent on the world stage and to make them visible to renowned casting directors.
Therefore, we are very happy about our growing partnership with the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg, one of Europe’s leading film schools.
The Filmakademie has been hosting the International Screen Acting Workshop since 2016. A highly attractive programme that gives young aspiring actors and actresses the tools they need to gain an international foothold. Experienced professionals from around the world provide lectures on a range of topics from acting, coaching, casting, self-marketing and networking to the globalisation of the film industry.
As a partner of the programme, e-TALENTA awarded a scholarship this year and provided the selection process in which 12 had to prevail out of many hundreds of submissions.

How did it feel to win the e-TALENTA scholarship to the International Screen Acting Workshop?
To be honest, it feels amazing. I’m honored and humbled to join the ISAW this year. I’m sure, this workshop is a space of quality time together, process-oriented practices, created by passionate people. A safe space for meeting, practicing together and sharing experiences, which each artist definitely needs.
Do you have any specific hopes or expectations for the workshop?
Yes, I do! I think it’s a perfect space for me to find out, who I am for the European film industry right now. Not only in practical terms, but also artistically. Dialogue is always a form of noesis.
And finally, if you could tell the casting directors, directors and producers reading this interview one thing, what would it be?
We have something in common: a passion for creating movies, telling someone’s else stories. For me, being an actress, becoming someone else in the process of creating is not only an aesthetic dimension, but also ethical. An act of radical empathy and selflessness.
